We are currently a three vet mixed practice looking for a small animal vet to fill a post vacated by Jacqui who is leaving to start studying for her Cardiology Diploma.  We were established in Oct 1999 as a totally new mixed practice working out of West Bridgford in the South Nottinghamshire/Rushcliffe area.  We became a nurse training centre in 2000 and achieved Investors in People in 2002.  In June 2004 we moved to our current premises and in 2006 became a tier 2 RCVS practice.  We have a team of 3 full time and 1 part time nurse, all of whom are registered VN`s and 1 full time trainee (year 2) nurse.  Our current permanent assistant vet, Cathy, is undertaking RCVS certificate training biased towards surgery and oncology.  This is part and parcel of our commitment to ever improving standards of care for our patients.  After a suitable probationary period, any new employee would be encouraged to undertake similar post graduate training. 

We work to high clinical standards and have a constantly expanding equipment list - HMT/Vetscan lab equipment, microscope, refractometer, glucometer, pipelined oxygen, passive and active scavenging, isoflurane/propofol anaesthesia, separate prep room with tub table, separate op room, separate x-ray room, separate cattery/kennels, mobile x-ray unit, linear/microconvex ultrasound probes for mobile scanner, ECG (inc halter), video endoscope, vacuum autoclave and a wide range of other equipment.  As you will see from the web site we have a very nice working environment in an affluent suburban area.  Our client base are extremely pleasant with an over-riding desire to receive high quality care, and we are renouned for working up our cases thoroughly.

Salary depends on level of experienceand skill level.  On call and out of hours bonus package worth between (4K-6k).
